Nancy Pelosi: Mosque Opposition Funding Will Be Investigated

August 18, 2010: I woke up this morning, rubbed my eyes, turned on the news and heard House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying she was going to investigate funding to the Mosque being built at Ground Zero.

WHAT? Immediately I was struck by a myriad of emotions to which I would normally never succumb, i.e., joy, awe, euphoria (I never get there in any instance!), exhilaration, and, well, you get my point! Oh, my God, this is the best news ever. Nancy’s right! The word, the word, the word, what a beautiful word!

And while my brain and my heart were experiencing euphoria and wondering what the hell euphoria was, and best of all, what this could mean for the whole country, not just the Mosque topic but oh so many wondrous things, the TV broke through the insanity long enough to make me realize I had not heard what I thought I heard.

STOP THE PRESSES!

WHAT? As the insanity cleared out of my head, Idiot-provoked anger comfortably replaced it. And my Idiot radar was on full alert! No, no, no!

No, no, she is going to investigate how the Opposition to the Mosque is being funded. Wow, BIG DIFF THERE PCOACH! The Idiot-witch says she believes there is "a concerted effort to make this a political issue." Well, let's just hope so, because without that effort, without the people watching and speaking out, you and the Idiot-President would hand over to Islam the keys to New York. Hell, for that matter, the keys to America. That certainly seems to be the intention of this administration. Sell America out to the highest bidder.

So now I’m awake and at “full faculties” (or is it full faculty - singular?) again. (If it is “faculties” I’m pretty sure I only have one anyway.) Maybe I just wanted to hear that a frickin’ progressive had suddenly decided to have a heart, half-a-brain, and do the right thing. I mean, apparently even I am not beyond optimism. I didn’t even realize it. Good to know. Gotta curb that!

No, Nancy-the-stinking-witch-Pelosi has decided, in her ever-so-not-so-infinite-wisdom to investigate who is funding the Opposition to the dreaded Mosque at Ground Zero.

Well investigate this, you Idiot-witch. When I am through with this hub I will proceed to find a place online to donate money for the defense of the Opposition to the Mosque, and I challenge all of you readers to do the same, if your finances allow.

I realize she is looking for Groups that have donated (really, Nancy, do you really want to go that route - does the Center for American Progress come to mind or maybe George Soros?) but I am here, an individual legal citizen, RIGHT NOW, Nancy, with my hand up saying, “Yes, ma’am, I gave money to oppose the morons who think it prudent to place a Mosque at or near Ground Zero. Those morons include yourself and my Idiot-President. Do not hide behind the Constitution, in fact, don’t even say the “word” because the word (no pun intended) does not roll easily from your tongue. This particular issue does not require the government’s intervention despite the fact that you think you know what is better for the good legal citizens of America. You progressives have slapped decent Americans around enough and I, for one, am slapping back. I “am” what your bad policies have created, now deal with it! Don’t cry about rhetoric while you spew nothing but rhetoric.”

That’s what I would say, given the chance. I question the patriotism, yes, the patriotism, of ANYONE who thinks it’s okay to put that Mosque at or near Ground Zero and the very fact that the Imam refused different locations and continues to refuse different locations is proof-positive to me that there are no good intentions here. The Iman has repeatedly been caught in lies and refuses to renounce Hamas. I’d say any Idiot could see that Islam’s sole purpose is to lay its claim on New York as a conquered site, but apparently not. These Idiots in Washington are even bigger Idiots than we thought.

Now there is something to investigate. Idiocy is a serious problem in America, a crisis even, which is primary and thankfully limited so far, to the progressive party. Yes, it has struck other people in other parties but this does seem to be a "progressive disease" (yet again in this hub, no pun intended) and it is worth investigating what makes them more susceptible to the disease. Is this Idiocy the “generated crisis” of which Joe Biden spoke after Obama took office? There is no hope to cure progressives or liberals of this potentially fatal disease, Idiocy, but not all democrats have to succumb to it. With proper growth and cultivation and loads of re-education, some of these Idiots could find their way back to something resembling normalcy, and perhaps even a realistic view of where this country is really headed.

I will admit that that brief moment of euphoria I experienced when I thought Pelosi was doing the right thing was just as I said earlier, insanity. What sane person would ever believe that Nancy Pelosi would “do the right thing”? From now on, no more news on current events until I am fully awake and properly fed. This experience proves to me that breakfast may very well be the most important meal of the day!
